How to have peace with god?

Peace is a fruit of Righteousness. The Righteousness of God is only achieved through faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus-Christ. It is a grace, a free gift of God. You cannot act right until your personal righteousness becomes acceptable to God. God makes you righteous in His sight by giving you His righteousness into your spirit, this is God’s justification. Righteousness is God’s capacity to do right, Believe in Jesus today and receive the God’s righteous that gives peace.

Romans 5:1: Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. 
Isaiah 32:17: The fruit of that righteousness will be peace; its effect will be quietness and confidence forever

How to be free from sin? Part 1

Sin is not only breaking any law of God, but also not doing what God want.  To be free from sin, 3 phases are required:
  • Free from the sin nature (part1)
  • Free from the dominion of sin
  • Free from the presence of sin
Romans 5:19: For just as through the disobedience of the one man [Adam] the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man [Jesus-Christ] the many will be made righteous.Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. 

How to be free from sin? PArt 2

Jesus the advocate of the sinners

An Advocate is a person who, being a member of the bar, professes to defend before the courts, either orally or in writing, the honor, life, liberty and interests of litigants and to advise them. 

Adam and Eve were cast out of the garden after a single sin, because God is holy and righteous. Therefore our own righteousness can never be enough.  In His love, God provided a perfect replacement for us, a sacrifice for our sins, that took our place at the cross: Jesus-Christ, the Righteous one. 

1 John 2:1: My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.

PRAYING IS TALKING TO GOD

Lord Jesus-Christ, I acknowledge I am a sinner. I ask you for forgiveness for all my sins. 

I invite you in my life. I accept you personnally as my Lord and Saviour today.   I believe in my heart and i confess with my mouth that you died for my sins and raised from the death the third day. 

Now I am saved and i have become a child of God.
